this time its a 4096 and some bending to make this a solid looking shape. then some paint in paint room. ao and displacement maps came from marmoset because i couldnt figure out how to get displacement and a good ao out of coat yet. when i bake ao in coat it seems like its not picking up the sculpt geo but only the general shape and the normal map for its creation. so ill keep experimenting with that to see what other ways i can bake with coat to get a better result in those two maps. i then took this into blender to render in cycles and also exported a marmoset view file. the next thing i want to try is destroying this so its got some really cool detail from that. since can be voxels that shouldn't be all that hard. i may have to then make some interior looking stuff that is then revealed from the destruction. like a sub structure. nothing super complex but something that would get revealed. than retop and uv again with all that in a new version.
