My responsibilities: LD / WB / Lighting
Working on bad mans hollow was fun. It had 3 unique looks for the three acts of game play. In act one we see a happy glen, then after getting tricked we end up underground in the bad place, finally we see what happened to the glen we saw in the first part. I made 3 separate levels, in one instance, each with different looks. To sell the story. Made some creepy glowy moss rocks to add an alternate lighting source to sell the creepy. I made some structural elements to make the cave more organic and less prefab’d. The bottom of the caves is terrain and the tops are modules I made to make that layout possible. Designer was Cris Cowger, great guy, easy to work with.
